Millions of people visit New Mexico State Parks each year. According to EMNRD Cabinet Secretary Jennifer A. Salisbury, about 5 million people visited our state parks in 1998. Some parks estimate as many as 40 percent of visitors live in other states or countries. New Mexico has 31 state parks encompassing the scenic beauty and mystic in America's Land of Enchantment. Discover the enchantment by hiking in our mountains, fishing in our lakes and streams, or exploring our desert lowlands and plains. Explore the parks by clicking on any of the links below. You can also download many of the park brochures directly from the New Mexico State Parks Divison web.
